Vitalitus Soothamide contains 2% PEA by weight, along with soothing botanicals like Myrrh, Frankincense, Shea, and Aloe. Each pump dispenses 1 ml, or about 20 mg of topical PEA.
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endogenous fatty acid amide. This molecule is a naturally-occurring component of soybeans, egg yolks, peanuts, and a number of other foods. The molecule is also naturally produced in plants and animals.
PEA is normally made by the body in response to inflammation where it triggers a decrease of the inflammatory response in Mast and Glial cells. Myrrh and frankincense have been used since ancient times in wound healing and as anti-inflammatories / analgesics.

Suggested Adult Use: Apply thin layer to the skin on the affected area up to 4 times per day or as directed by your healthcare professional. PEA Content is 2% by weight. One pump dispenses 1 ml (approximately 20 mg of PEA). Remove and discard protective tab prior to use. After opening a new bottle, a few pumps may be needed for priming.
