Serralase™ provides potent, vegetarianproteases for use as a systemic enzyme formulation to support tissue repair and healing. Proteolytic enzymes activate cells mediating tissue repair and break down cellular debris associated with inflammation thereby improving vascular permeability, modulating tissue restorative processes, and speeding healing. Serratia peptidase, a highly active and specific endopeptidase, is widely used to assist recovery after surgery or trauma, support joint function, and assist the respiratory system in breaking down and clearing mucus.
Serratia peptidase also helps protect sensitive gastrointestinal tissue from irritation and inflammation that can adversely affect tissue health and intestinal comfort. Suggested Adult Use: General Support: 1 to 3 tablets daily between meals. Aggressive Support: 3 to 6 tablets daily between meals.
Other Ingredients: Cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, silicon dioxide, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, and enteric copolymer dispersion coating.
Free of: Klaire Labs® brands of products are free of artificial flavors, preservatives, and colorings. Naturally-derived, inert excipient materials, including cellulose-based excipients, vegetable-derived magnesium stearate, L-leucine, and silicon dioxide are used in very small amounts as tableting and encapsulation aids. Tableted products are protected with an inert, water-soluble cellulose coating that dissolves readily upon ingestion, thus facilitating tablet disintegration time. Vegetarian capsules made of plant cellulose are used exclusively for two-piece encapsulated products. Common allergens such as wheat, corn, soy, yeast, and dairy are avoided unless otherwise specified on the label.
