This Gastrointestinal Formula is made from Organic Slippery Elm (Ulmus Rubra) Dried Bark, Organic Marshmallow (Althaea Officinalis) Dried Root, Organic Turmeric (Curcuma Longa) Dried Root.
Slippery elm bark with its coating properties has been known to help support the following: can help reduce irritation of the GI track by soothing the lining of the stomach and intestines; sooth a cough or sore throat; and heartburn.
Marshmallow has anti-inflammatory properties, which helps reduce inflammation of the mucous membranes and speed up healing. Plant mucus covers the mucous membranes with a thin layer, which remains on the surface for a long time and protects them from irritation.
Turmeric has a powerful antioxidant, wound-healing effect, promotes activation of the immune system.
